easy DIY bat costume.

Procrastinated on your Halloween outfit for tonight? Well, have no fear. Rach is here to save the day.

Here is a quick, easy, and CUTE outfit idea that you can make TONIGHT. Just in time for the festivities!

AND you most likely have most of the materials you already need at home!

What you need:
1. 6 ft x 4 ft black felt. (I used black sparkly felt, cause you know, you can never have too many sparkles)
2. Scissors
3. A stapler.
4. Safety pins.
5. 2 Hair ties.
6. Duck tape.
7. A headband.

Now, on to the directions...

1. Cut your felt with this design. I suggest using chalk to draw the outline first, then start cutting.

2. THEN, grab your two hair ties and staple them to where your wrists will be on the wings.

3. Then to put on your wings, put your wrists through the hair ties and then use safety pins to attack the top of the wings to your shirt (so it doesn't flop all over). I use about 4 safety pins and put them by my neck, and by my shoulders so the wings will hold their shape.

4. ON TO THE EARS. First, use the extra felt you have and cut out a "bat shaped ear" and make sure it's a little wide at the bottom.

5. Cut a slit on the bottom fourth of each ear and over lap the two sides. Staple where they over lap so your ears will stick up.

6. Fold duck tape (so the sticky side of the ducktape is on the outside) and attack it to the ear's, then attach the ears to the headband.

Wah-lah! Your outfit is done! Super simple and I think SUPER cute!

Enjoy your Halloween folks! Stay safe!

halloween costumes.

I'm sure you all already know this, but if you don't I just want to inform you that HALLOWEEN IS IN TWO DAYS.

I'm so excited guys. Halloween is definitely my favvvvorite holiday to celebrate. It's going to be great.

The ghosts, the ghouls... the scantily clad nurses, cops, and inanimate objects.

It's going to be a fun time.

With that said, I am curious as to what my readers will be wearing this year!

Here were my outfits the past few years.

Vampire

Ninja Turtle

Bat

And this year the plan is to be a tooth fairy. Inspiration from the Queen herself, LC.

However, if tulle ends up being too pricey for my budget I might just have to stick with Tinkerbell this year.

What are you dressing up as this year? I want to know! Leave it in the comments below! :)

pumpkin decor.

Halloween is ALMOST HERE.

And I am STOKED.

Okay, that is an understatement because I am SO, SO, SO EXTREMELY, FREAKING STOKED.

And that means that you slackers out there need to decorate ASAP to get your home ready for the trick-or-treaters, the halloween party-goers, and the binge watching scary movie marathoners by decorating your house all "halloweenie!"

So here are some cute, easy, ideas for decorating pumpkins!

Use sequins! Glitter is ALWAYS better.

Paint is your friend.

A classic jack-o-lantern is a great way to add some spice to any porch.

Bedazzled pumpkin, anyone?

Use duct tape. Find out how to make one here.

Make a vampire.

Use your pumpkins to make a sign! How cute, right?

No pumpkin, no problem! Paper will work just fine.

Who doesn't love bows with cute notes?

Fall leaves + gold = perfection.

Metallics are always chic.

And like I said, the more glitter, the better.

Here are a few pumpkins my friend and I decorated, for more inspo, of course. :)

Your welcome, and get to it! You don't have much time left! ;)

my fall must-haves.

Here is a list of my go-to items for fall this year. I know, they are pretty basic, but I mean... what's wrong with that, right? #BASICfoLYFE

Fringe boots.

Wine colored, well, anything.

Dark lipstick.

Dark nail polish.

Pumpkin Spice Lattes (I KNOW I'M BASIC, SORRY NOT SORRY)

Getting fat, because I mean it's only natural to put on that winter weight to stay warm. So I will eat away, folks, I will eat all the food.

Suede.

Candles.

Blanket scarves.

What are your fall must-have items?

pumpkin patchin'.

Hi lovlies!

As you all probably know by now, I LOVE FALL.

I also love my bf (I know, surprise there, right?) and I love pumpkins.

So I wanted to share with you a wonderful experience I had at a local pumpkin patch in my hometown.

We had so much fun and took quite a few cute photos that I can't NOT share them with you!

Enjoy! And if you are a hometown reader of mine, make sure to check out Lincoln Ridge before it closes! :)

Enjoying the corn maze.

HOW CUTE IS HE?! This may or may not be my background photo on my phone...

Chester enjoyed the day as well.

He's SUCH a loser.

What are your favorite fall activities?
