Adele anyone?

Did you guys see her make-up last night? Absolutely beautiful.

Though I do not enjoy only hearing her songs on the radio, I will not dispute that she is an absolutely amazing singer and beautiful person in general. And that was all even more predominant last night at the Grammy's.

All I can say is, get it girl.

snowy look of the day.

It was snowing, so I figured I would do a look that was kind of, festive? No...that's not the right word...um, oh well. You know what I mean. This is the make-up that I think captures a "Snowy day look". Well, other than the "lay-in-bed-in-slouchy-sweats" look. :)

I also had to dress up for school so I thought I would show you my outfit as well.

Here's a close up of the make-up.

For all of you wondering, the lipstick is in Plum Perfect from Maybelline.

You have to love flattering pictures like this one, huh? ;)

Have a wonderful weekend friends!

face of the day.

And here we are with yet another FOTD. :)

For the eyes.
I primed them.
Then I put a cream color under my browbone and allll over my lid.
I then took a crease brush and added a dark brown to my outer corner.
Then to my "inner-outer" corner I added some deep silver.
I put a sparkly creamy/pinky pigment from the tear duct to the center of my lid.
Winged out my eyeliner.
Applied mascara.

For the face.
I primed.
Then added the foundation.
Concealed what needed to be concealed.
Applied bronzer right under my cheekbones to my temple and on the outside of my nose.
Added a rosey blush to the apples of my cheeks.
And added a sparkly champagne highlighter under my eyes above the cheekbones, temples, bridge of nose, and chin.

For the lips.
I just put on my favorite plum lipstick. :)

And there's the baby girl. :) Isn't she so sweet?

1.02.2012

christmas haul.

Okay.
The time has come.

The Christmas Haul.

Now, let us get started. First and foremost, the make-up. Pretty much everything I got was Benefit because it is my new found love. But some other things thrown in as well. ;)

Here is a Stila pallet that I will use whenever I go somewhere. All I need is this little pallet, some foundation and brushes and I am set. Totally easy and quick to get ready to go somewhere. It has four eye shadows, a darker purple, a lighter purple, a black and a silver. Then A rosy blush with a light bronzer. Everything I need! :)

Now my Grandma ended up getting me these little beauties. They are Josie Maran color sticks, and to be honest I had never heard of them before she got these for me. I tried them, and they are absolutely wonderful! If you like a quick cheek color and lip color this is the product for you. They are non-paraben and they smell aweeeesome. Lemony goodness.

The Fun Stuff.
Watts Up! Highlighter from Benefit - Champagne Highlighter full of awesomeness.
VS highlighter - Sooooo sparkly. I love Victoria's Secret make-up just for the fact that they have the sparkly-est make-up I have EVER seen.
ChaCha Tint - Benefit lip and cheek stain, it is a super cute coral color. Complements any skin tone.
BeneTint - Benefit lip and cheek stain as well, this is a rosy shade. Really pretty for winter.

The Essentials.
Stay Don't Stray - Eyeshadow Primer. A little goes a lonnnng way with this. Totally worth the price. It'll last forever and is amazing.
Porefessional - A pore minimizing primer. Awesome for my yucky teenage skin.
Some Kind of Gorgeous - Concealer, plain and simple.

Hervana Highlighter.
Benefits newest highlighter and their only powder one. This is so pretty on and works amazingly. :)

The Realness of Concealness.
This little kit is perfect to throw into your make-up bag when you are leaving to stay somewhere and don't want to take your whole make-up collection. It has Boiiing concealer, Lemonaid eyeshadow primer, High Beam highlighter, Lip Plump lip primer, and Ooh La La Lift (which makes your eye's look less puffy)

VS Pigment in Naked.
Sparkly. Amazing.

Now for those of you more interested in clothing.

Okay, well first off I got some knee-high socks to wear underneath of my boots, in cream and gray. Both from H&M. I also got a leopard headband from F21. Super cute!

This pretty sparkly taupe shirt from F21. So cute, I wore it for New Years with some leggings, actually.

This pretty over sized, crochet-esque cream shirt. So cute. Again, from F21.

AND THE BOOTS. No need to tell you guys how much I love these. You already know. ;)

What do you think? What was your favorite gift this year?

12.19.2011

holiday glam make-up.

Hey guys! I figured I would do a holiday look for you so you can have an idea of what to wear to all of your Christmas parties, or whatever. :)

If you are bored and have nothing better to do, then you can spend 10 minutes watching this video to see how to accomplish this lovely look. Sorry, I lack on the editing equipment, but...oh well. Haha!
Oh! And I'm not entirely sure why this video is side ways, but if that bothers you just watch it on youtube and then come back here. :)

So try it out! It's perrrrfect for Christmas, or Hanukkah, or New Years! Have fun with it!

How cute is this? Erika is such a good elf. :)

After Ice-Skating! :) Our cheeks were all rosy from the cold. Bug kind of looks like Santa, huh?

If you guys do end up trying out this look, let me know how it turns out! Maybe even send me a picture?

Have a wonderful week! :)
