review: proextensions

So, get this guys.

I have been contemplating on getting hair extensions for about 6 months because I wasn't quite sure if I wanted to spend money that I could potentially grow myself. You know?

Well I recently discovered a wonderful site called ProExtensions. I saw that their extensions were relatively on the cheaper side than the other extensions I have seen. Also, I saw that their shipping was FREE and not only was it free but the extensions also got to you the NEXT DAY. How awesome is that?

So it goes without saying that I ended up getting them, right? Well I did. And I love them.

This is coming from a girl that was super iffy about them to begin with. Like, seriously. I was so afraid of them looking fake and just looking nasty.

Ohhhhh was I mistaken.

Why I love them.

These extensions are SO SOFT. So long, and have wonderful quality.

The color didn't quite match my natural color and was a little lighter than it, but it had the same red/brown tones and blended extremely well. It's like I not only got extensions, but I got highlights as well.

There are 10 clips! That is soooo much. Seriously. For 100 bucks it is such a deal. My hair was not only longer but fuller as well.

And the clips are super durable. I don't tease my hair or anything when I put them in and they hold all day!

Here are some of the details you would probably like to know.

  • I ordered the 20 inch standard chestnut brown extensions.
  • They came with 10 wefts.
    • 1 8-inch wide weft with 3 clips
    • 1 7-inch wide weft with 3 clips
    • 2 6-inch wide wefts with 3 clips
    • 6 1 1/2- inch wide wefts with 1 clip
  • They also came with two 1 1/2- inch wide wefts to test curling, coloring, straitening, and pretty much anything on. That is a plus so you don't have to hurt your extensions trying out something different.
  • The clips have polymer lining so it is super comfy on your head. It doesn't tear or hurt or anything.
  • 100% real hair
  • Overnight shipping
  • Free shipping
  • If you don't know what color you are you can order a ring of sample colors to make sure you order the correct color.

Oh! And did I forget to mention that I have a 10% off coupon code for you?
My bad.

Use this at checkout and get 10% off!

i got 'em!

Okay, remember this post? Well. I did it. I got them.

And you know what? I love them.

So I am going to shout out to the girls that showed me the wonderful site Fashion Feather
Hannah and Olivia
If these girls didn't post where they got theirs at, I wouldn't of ended up getting them. They were so cheap (5 feathers, one wire tool and 2 crimp beads for 20 bucks!) And they are GREAT quality! The only think I wish that I did different was order more crimp beads, but whatever. I'll just get more next time. ;) Anyway - here are the pictures! And if you order some, lemme see what they look like in a link!

Have a great week!

feather extensions - what do you think?

I know I might be a little late to the whole trend, but I have been meaning to do another post incorporating my lovely sponsors (See here if you are interested in future opinion posts! It's completely free!). So I figured that the new craze, feather extensions, would be a great topic. Last time I did an opinion blog I got a lot of different views, and I want to see even more this time! You hear (see?) that people? I want to see what YOU think! (That means comment! Comment! Comment!) Anyway, on to the post - Sorry, I have a hard time keeping track of what I am writing. :p

Yep, we have upgraded from the pink and blue hair extensions (remember when everyone thought that was SO cool?). The new hair trend is making peacocks and quails shiver in their feathers. Feather extensions. I don't know who really came up with this idea, but they have to be pretty proud of how their idea is taking the fashion/beauty world by storm. I mean, I would. Who would've thought that people would want to put feathers in their hair...when I first heard about this trend I was thinking that people were putting nasty duck feathers in their hair, but to my surprise, they were not.  Figures, I had no idea what I was thinking. Lol. ANYWAY - Here are a couple of my blogging friends opinions.

"I LOVE feather hair extensions, even though I don't have any. I think that they add a touch of whimsy to your everyday hair. :) That being said, I also think that they're a little too popular for me, now. Haha! But if I were to get some, I'd stick with the natural colors. I think those can look really chic!"
- Gentri from Gentri Lee

"I am alllll in for feather hair extensions! I think they're so beautiful and add that extra "pop" to any outfit! I personally love the look of some of the ones with beads, they're so pretty and cute! Feather extensions all the way"
- Lauren from The Perfect Pear

"YAY definitely! LOVE the idea! Defineitely would like to try themself :)"
- Holly from Miss Fashion Beauty

"I personally think that they are HOT. Totally cute, and I think that they will look even better in the upcoming fall season with the brown and green feathers. I would totally get some proffesionally done, but I don't have money...so that won't work. i do have a clip in pair, and they are totally cute. I think that anyone can work them, really. From blonde hair to black, from short hair to long. But I don't think that they would really work on a pixi-cut...maybe, I guess you never know. Lol. All in all, I believe that yes, this is a trend and they will be out of style in no time, but for now they are a fun and spunky way of making your hair look interesting! :)"
- Me. :)

So, what do you guys think? Super cute, or super wierd?
