how-to ombre nails.

I've really been loving anything ombre lately.

I would totally ombre out my hair if I had the guts to.

But something less drastic and permanent is ombre nails.

So I combined two things that I loved. Sparkles and ombre.

Here's how I did it.

Oh! And sorry for the pictures. I forgot to take pictures right after painting my nails so those were taken about a week after.

PLEASE like this picture for me. I will forever be your friend.

missoni nails.

Remember this post?

Well I had a lot of requests to do a tutorial for you guys, so here it is!

What you need.
1 base color (I used a tealy blue)
2 accent colors (I used purple and green)
1 black sharpie
Top coat
A toothpick

What you need to do.

1. Paint your nails with a base color.
2. Take your sharpie and draw 2-3 zig zag lines on your nails. (If it gets on your skin, don't worry! It'll come off!)
3. Take one of your accent colors and put a dot on a magazine.
4. Take your toothpick, dip it into the nail polish "dot" to get nail polish on it.
5. Follow the black zig-zag, so you have the same design, with the color on the toothpick. (2-3 times)
6. Do the same thing with the other accent color.
7. Apply top coat.
8. Take a picture and email it to Rach so she can see. :)

There ya go! It seems a little difficult, but it is totally worth it!

Have a wonderful week!

holiday glam make-up.

Hey guys! I figured I would do a holiday look for you so you can have an idea of what to wear to all of your Christmas parties, or whatever. :)

If you are bored and have nothing better to do, then you can spend 10 minutes watching this video to see how to accomplish this lovely look. Sorry, I lack on the editing equipment, but...oh well. Haha!
Oh! And I'm not entirely sure why this video is side ways, but if that bothers you just watch it on youtube and then come back here. :)

So try it out! It's perrrrfect for Christmas, or Hanukkah, or New Years! Have fun with it!

How cute is this? Erika is such a good elf. :)

After Ice-Skating! :) Our cheeks were all rosy from the cold. Bug kind of looks like Santa, huh?

If you guys do end up trying out this look, let me know how it turns out! Maybe even send me a picture?

Have a wonderful week! :)

leopard nails.

Okay guys, so I have another nail-treat for you. You see that up there? I'm in love. I have recently converted to the leopard lovers. Which I never thought I would've, I used to think it was trashy - But I have since figured out that if you wear it right and not too much it can look so cute. So I decided, where better to have a pop of leopard than on your nails? I mean - they are always with you so you always have a pop of spunk added to any outfit. ;) So here is a quick tutorial over how I did my nails - you can do them with some pops of color (like me) or you can just use a beautiful bronze to make it look more "natural". I hope you enjoy. :)

What you are going to need.
1. A Brownish/bronze or whatever color you would like to have as your base color. I used two colors - the little one on the far left and the love and beauty one second to the right.
2. Accent colors for the spots. (you can see I used colors - you can just use a brown or whatever)
3. A dark color. (I used plum, but black will work perfectly.)
4. Toothpicks.
5. A sheet of paper.
6. Top coat.

 What you need to do.
1. Apply your base color. Let it dry.
2. Put your accent colors on a piece of paper, just drop some of it so you can dip your toothpick in the colors.
3. Put random spots of the accent color over your nail. Apply with a toothpick.
4. Take your dark color (black/plum/whateva) and drop a dime size amount onto the piece of paper.
5. Dip your toothpick in the paint on the paper. Apply it to the nail around the spots in a "C".
6. Do this on allll of your nails.
7. Apply top coat.

---------------------------------------------

And there you have it! So fun and so cute. If you guys end up trying this look hit me up with a link! I'd love to see how they turn out! :)

senior picture makeup.

Hey everyone!
I'm SO sorry for the lack of posts that really are fun to read - Silly me waited on everything until last minute for the sponsors, so my apologizes. :) But let's get back to the norm with some awesome posts, right?! :)

--------------------------------------------------

As some of you may know, I am a senior this year and I am getting to go through all of the "senior" things. One of those things being senior pictures! So here is a video on how I did my make-up for those pictures. (Which I will be showing you guys as soon as I get them!) So I hope you enjoy - and please excuse the lighting/hair/mebeingaspaz. :)

First: Take a cream eye shadow - or shadow pencil in a pearly color and cover your lids.
Second: Take an eyeliner (pencil or gel, wet won't work) and line the top of your lids.
Third: Take a blending brush or an eye shadow brush and blend the eyeliner across your lids.
Fourth: Take a pearly turquoise or teal and cover your lids. Blend that up a little.
Fifth: Take a dark brown/silver color and put it in your crease. Blend up.
Sixth: Take a light silver and use that as your highlighter.
Seventh: To add some sparkle, use a shimmer color (I used a creamy pearl, you can use whatever you have really, silver, gold, whateva.)
Eighth: Line your eyes - I chose to do a small cat-eye.
Ninth: Massssscara.

And there you have it, a super cute eye shadow look that is relatively easy - lemme know what you think. :)

---------------------------------------------------------

Still taking sponsors for September! And that giveaway is still going on! :)

7.14.2011

forest green look.

CAUTION: I am kind of silly, I hope you don't judge me. ;)

Hey, since the last make-up/eyeshadow tutorial was such a big hit, I figured that I would try it again. I thought of this again, after all of my makeup was done, so I just went through it while I had it one. (Sorry!) But here it is! I don't have very good lighting in my room so it might be hard to see at times, but I hope you can get the jist of what the look is. :)

Oh! And I didn't mean to put more sparkle on my eyes...that was an accident. ;)

First: PRIME.
Second: Cream eyeshadow on BROW BONE.
Third: Forest Green on outer V.
Fourth: Inside Outer V brown.
Fifth: BLEND.
Sixth: Shimmer it out (From tear duct to inner third of bottom lashes.
Seventh: Double Wing it.
Eighth: Masssscara.

Hope you enjoyed this! If you didn't, sorry, I'm new. ;)
