10 things i love about winter.

Hello lovlies!

So, it's December 5th, AKA winter-time and it got me thinking, man I really do not enjoy winter. The cold, dry air is just not that fun to walk to class every day in (thank goodness this year is a mild winter, I don't think I could handle another winter like the past two years again).

But I'm trying to stay positive so I decided to post about my top 10 favorite things about winter. So here goes...

1. Being able to wear cozy sweaters.

2. Being able to gain some extra weight because you can hide it under those cozy sweaters.

3. The snow actually is, well, pretty.

4. HOLIDAY SEASON. Friends, family, a break off of school... what could be better?

5. Cuddling by the fire place. (I mean, what's better than acting like you are the star of a romantic comedy?)

6. Christmas decor, music, and an overall feeling of joy is also wonderful. Not to mention the sparkling of a lit Christmas tree is beautiful.

7. HOT BEVERAGES. I don't know about you, but I love hot lattes, chocolate, tea, etc. but I can't make myself drink these hot beverages when it is actually hot out. I should get over it, but I literally cannot drink a hot drink when it is over 70 degrees out.

8. Seeing children build their first snowman/have a snow ball fight. SO CUTE.

9. Seeing dogs play in the snow.

10. And last, but definitely not least, HOLIDAY FOOD. Mac N Cheese, mashed potatoes, pie, chex mix, stuffing, etc. It's all wonderful, and what's great is you can splurge during this time of the year because well...refer back to #2.

Why do you love winter?

sweaterz.

I don't have to tell you guys that its cold outside.

I've been dreading the walks to and from class, and being frozen.

But with this cold weather comes the chance to wear some super cute clothes so I guess I shouldn't complain that much.

Check out some of these super duper cute sweaters

It'll make you feel a little better about it being FREEZING outside.

the right way to wear a cardi.

Guys.

It's cold.

You know what that means? Oversized, comfy, lazy, knitted cardigans.

But how do you wear them the right way?

Have no fear. Rach is here.

First thing first. You can basically layer anything that has a relatively same color scheme with it. I find this the best way to wear one.

You are supposed to be comfortable that means you work that messy hair girl. Work it.

It's easy, really. Get an oversized cardi, pair it with a simple t.

Since the cardigan is pretty bulky, pair it with some simple jewelry.

And if you want to be realllllly comfy. Wear some leggings. Leggings = love.

How do you like to wear your cardi's?

winter essentials.

I don't know about you guys, but all I see when the first snow hits is Northface coats, Uggs, and leggings. Blah.

So I figured I would help some of you out with some inspiration for the upcoming winter. You can look cute, AND unique. All at once.

Now, don't get me wrong, all of those clothing items are cute! But for my taste a little too, well, common. So don't hate on what I'm saying. Please.

First off. Instead of the boring black Northface coat - Try a cute trench or tweed jacket. Super chic, I must say.

Need some boots? How about these babies. Or some cute wedge boots if you are into that sort of thing.

And try to pair them with something comfy, yet different. Go for the leggings, but try these out instead of the normal black leggings. Go for olive, or navy, gray, a dark purple? Heck, try some sparkles out too.

Don't forget your gloves either! :)

OH! And if I catch annnnyyyy of you wearing this.

I will be very disappointed.

Have a wonderful day, friends. :)

Oh! And if you would like to decorate my blog with your lovely buttons over on the left hand side, look here. :)
