Maybe it's just me, but I really do not like the UGG trend.

Is it even a trend anymore? I mean, it has been years since people have been wearing these overpriced cloth boots. So is it now considered a new winter staple? Do UGG's fit in to the same category now as winter sweaters and scarves?

Personally I think that they are ugly (UGGly) boots that have become culturally acceptable to wear out in public due to the comfort they serve the wearer. I would just rather spend my 170 bucks on a pair of riding boots or those lovely fringe boots that I have been talking about. They actually kind of remind me of Pooh Bears feet.

What do you think? Maybe I'm crazy.

Hello, hello! I’m China. I am a full time college student as well as being a Division 1 athlete in softball. It’s my senior year and I felt that it was finally time to share my life and love for many things through the blogging world. I love being creative and being able to craft my own things makes me so happy! I have recently opened an Etsy shop that I am very proud of and I look forward to expanding my products that are made with love. I can’t wait to meet some fellow bloggers who share my same interests and love for pretty things!

Hello! My name is Amy, and I run a silly little blog called A is for Ampersand. I'm a sewer, a crafter, a voracious thrifter, potential hoarder, and owner of a 1984 Westfalia Vanagon. I'm a writer and a designer, but mostly just a secret cat lady. If you believe thrifting is the greatest hobby of them all, then come on over and visit for all the thrifty goodness you can handle.

Hello all! My name is Tonya! My blog is a thrifting, diy, and lifestyle blog. Thrifting is my passion and I love to share my tips and my great finds.

I also have an Etsy shop for the accessories I make. Stop by my blog to get some inspiration for your style!

Hello!! My name is Candice, and I live in the beautiful country that is New Zealand! Some of my favourite things include; vintage (music, fashion, anything!), puppies, peanut slabs, ice cream, fish n chips on the beach, family, friends, SUMMER, shopping, shoes, and love!! I began my sweet (pun intended) little blog earlier this year as an online journal of sorts. I blog about anything and everything but generally, there seems to be a theme of Weddings and fashion! I would love it if you came to visit, feel free to stay a while! I look forward to hopefully making some new friends out of you over in Candy Land xx

Hey there! I'm Lauren, its very nice to meet you! I'm the owner and blogger of The Perfect Pear, which is full of inspiration, crafts and DIY's! I just launched a new E-course called 12 Days of Merry DIY that is 12 days (plus a few extra) of holly jolly Christmas DIY projects! I'd love to have you come join me!

Blurb- Hey guys! My name is Gentri and I blog over at Gentri Lee. I like to blog about my daily life and all of it's adventures with fashion, food, and crafts thrown in. I also wanted to let you all know that there won't be any new posts for this week.

winter knits. the good and the bad.

Well, it is getting a little nippity out. I look outside in the morning and there is frost on the windshield of my car. Fun right? (Sense my sarcasm?)

So with the cold, wintery weather coming around it is now time to get in to the warmer, snuggley clothes. That means knits. (I am using a lot of adverbs today, aren't I? Geesh.)

Knit sweaters, knit scarves, knit ear warmers, knit leggings.

That also means potential fashion DISASTER. Or fashion love. Here is your go-to guide with what not to wear this winter, and what to wear. (At least when it comes to knits) Enjoy.

First off - Don't wear this. "But Rach, it is so cute!" No, no it's not.

Chain Scarves. I love knit scarves, but not this. It just doesn't work.

The infamous ugly sweater. This is only acceptable at ugly sweater parties.

Knit Necklace - Ahhh. Cozy, right?

Okay, okay. Now on to the cute stuff. Are you excited? I am.

Ear Wamers. My favvvvvv.

Over-sized sweaters. A definite winter staple. Mmh.

Okay, I want these leggings so bad.

And of course you can't forget the lovely scarves!

What is your favorite (or least favorite) winter knit?

I wish for all of the loved ones I have that are sick, to get cured or to get better.

I wish to someday be successful.

I wish for a new mastif puppy. (I love puppies with big paws.)

I wish to go to the college of my choice.

I wish to keep the wonderful relationships I have now forever.

I wish to someday meet God.

Leave your wish in the comments.

No matter how silly or how sentimental. I want to know, I want to see what my friends are wishing for. :)

movember mustaches.

One of my friends at school, Kelsie, surprised me the other day with a mustache ring.

So, in honor of that. And movember. I am posting some mustaches. Enjoy, friends. :)

Also, if you would like to donate to support prostate cancer research go here.
