face of the day.

Just a quick face of the day. I hope you find some inspiration in it. :)

Bold navy eyeliner, with a bright pink lip. 
The face is bronzed just onder the cheekbone and up the temple and highlighted above the cheekbone and down the nose. 

And you see those lovely sponsors over on the left hand side? Yea, check 'em out. they are absolutely wonderful. :)

look of the day: lazy day.

Just a quick look of the day.  This was one of those days where you just didn't want to spend much time on your "look" so here is my lazy day look. (that's still cute, of course!)

I did a very dramatic cat eye with just light light eyeshadow. 

Then I put on my TARTE lipstick in Perky for a flush of color. 

I added a coral cheek color and contoured my cheeks with bronzer and highlighted in the areas that needed to be highlighted.

Now...my outfit. 

I paired an oversized tee with a pair of cute leggings. 

I got the shirt from AE and the leggings from TARTE. 

BUT - these are not your ordinary leggings, my friends. They have sequins down the side and they are super duper cute. Just enough glitz to spruce up a lazy day outfit. :) I wish you could see them in the pictures... :/

And what better to top off the "lazy day outfit" than with a top bun! Messy and chic all at the same time. :)

And here we are with yet another FOTD. :) 

For the eyes.

I primed them.

Then I put a cream color under my browbone and allll over my lid.

I then took a crease brush and added a dark brown to my outer corner. 

Then to my "inner-outer" corner I added some deep silver.

I put a sparkly creamy/pinky pigment from the tear duct to the center of my lid.

Winged out my eyeliner.

Applied mascara.

For the face.

I primed.

Then added the foundation.

Concealed what needed to be concealed.

Applied bronzer right under my cheekbones to my temple and on the outside of my nose.

Added a rosey blush to the apples of my cheeks.

And added a sparkly champagne highlighter under my eyes above the cheekbones, temples, bridge of nose, and chin.

For the lips. 

I just put on my favorite plum lipstick. :)

And there's the baby girl. :) Isn't she so sweet?

I decided to go with a bronzy/nude/smokey look. I contoured my cheeks with bronzer and added highlighter to the bridge of my nose, my temples and my chin. My eyes are just a classic smoky eye with gray on the outer corner and a shimmery light cream on the inner corner of my eyes to the middle of my eyes and as a browbone highlighter. The lips are just a matte nude color that blends in with my skin. :)

I don't really know what the face is that I am making, but it'll do. Hahaha.

Here is what I wore for make-up. 

Just some inspiration for those folks that need it. :)

I did a soft smokey eye. I used a dark gray in my outer corner - a shimmer silver in the first half of my eye and added some cream pigment to the inner corner. I topped it off with a swift cat-eye and mascara . :)

I think what really made this look is the dark lips. Not too dark, but darker than usual. I used Just Bitten lip stain in Twilight. :)
