One of the new trends that I have been seeing lately have been the cut out trend. And I must say, I love it! 

Here is a super cute cut-out sweater that I received from Style Lately. 

Style Lately is a site that has random clearance sales on the cutest clothing and accessories, the thing is, when you see it you need to get it then because it's liable to sell out quick! They mark down the prices of super cute clothing and accessories. Check them out, I'm sure you lovely people will LOVE them. 

Here is a knuckle ring that I received as well. I LOVE it!

OH MY GOSH. Are they not the cutest things in the world? I am going to have to get these. They are a pretty penny though, so I am probably going to have to wait until they go on sale or for Christmas, but that is entirely fine with me. I mean, like, seriously...have you seen cuter boots? They are comfy, and cute, and have fringe. 

But onto the post. 

Fringe right now is totally in, and those boots are not the only cute things. There are purses, booties, jackets, i'm seeing it everywhere. Not only can it be worn during fall and winter, but also summer and spring with cute little floral dresses, or anything. It's so versatile and so cute. 

So what I want to know is, what do you guys think about the latest trend? Because I am in love. 

Like, you don't even know how obsessed I am.

winter essentials.

I don't know about you guys, but all I see when the first snow hits is Northface coats, Uggs, and leggings. Blah. 

So I figured I would help some of you out with some inspiration for the upcoming winter. You can look cute, AND unique. All at once. 

Now, don't get me wrong, all of those clothing items are cute! But for my taste a little too, well, common. So don't hate on what I'm saying. Please. 

First off. Instead of the boring black Northface coat - Try a cute trench or tweed jacket. Super chic, I must say.

Need some boots? How about these babies. Or some cute wedge boots if you are into that sort of thing. 

And try to pair them with something comfy, yet different. Go for the leggings, but try these out instead of the normal black leggings. Go for olive, or navy, gray, a dark purple? Heck, try some sparkles out too. 

 

Don't forget your gloves either! :)

OH! And if I catch annnnyyyy of you wearing this.

I will be very disappointed.

fall fashion.

Okay, so fall is here. School is here. And well - pretty much now I have a reason to look cute. And since it has dropped about 20 degree's in two days - I went from short shorts to skinny jeans. 

Which I was not prepared for. 

I was ready to start school with some summer fashions - but unfortunately the weather is not permitting that. So, here is a little brainstorm of what I plan to wear while fall is making it's appearance. 

Now for school, I can't really go all out with my style because - 

One: I am walking up and down stairs all day.

 Two: I need to be semi comfortable because I will be sitting in very uncomfortable seating. 

Three: Freakin' dress code. (Which I never look like a hoochie, I always dress very nicely and appropriate - I just don't understand some of the guidelines that we have to follow. But. Whatever.)

Enough talk. Let's get to it.

Natural Nails - Forest green, Plum, Dark Gray, Nude, Browns. Okay - And maybe some copper sparkles, maybe.

Fitted Jackets - A good fitted jacket, to show of that you are actually a woman, will work with pretty much any outfit, and will keep you warm while making you look hot. 

A White Shirt - So, this is a staple item of course. If you don't have one loose white t-shirt, then...stop reading and go to the nearest mall and get yourself a good one. The white shirt can go with anything from a tight pencil skirt to a pair of slouchy skinny boyfriend jeans. Wear it with a cardi, wear it alone. Oh the things you can do...

Layers upon layers upon layers - You have to stay warm, right? Well stay warm with style. Layer a long sleeve shirt under a long sleave shirt, put on a jacket, add a scarf. You're set.

Orange - Anything. It is going to big this fall - I can see it now, girls walking around with orange scarves, orange nails, orange lips (maybe not at my school, but I wish, heck, I might try the orange lips. Lol.)

These colors. Find it. Buy it. Wear it. Love it. Amen.

Hoooooodies - Okay, not really stylish, but a fall staple. Wear these with some classic flares at a camfire, smelling the crisp, smokey, air. :)

Long flow-y hair - I would totally wear this if my hair was super long, but it's not, but if you have it. Flaunt it, girlfriend.

Leggings - Comfy, but cute. Layer a long sweater, tunic, whatever. Just feel comfy.

Shorts and cardis - A condridiction? Yes. Cute? Yes. Am I probably going to wear this the most? Yes.

So pretty much I think of Fall as a comfy and casual - yet sophisticated - season of style. You can get away with wearing one too many shirts and you can actually wear cute shoes, no more flip flops! It's my favorite season, so you will probably see a lot of "Fall"ish posts during it. Just so you know. ;)

There you have it - Can you guys think of anything else? Lemme know. I need inspiration. Lol.

DIY: crop tops.

Hey all. 

I am a trendy girl, as you can probably tell. But I swore that I would never fall into the trend of the dreaded "Crop Top". But, I gave into the pressure of those cute little shirts that show off a little skin. I know. Weak. 

BUT - To be honest I really like the look. The thing is, I think it looks best when you actually have boobs. See, I have a problem with that because well...I'm a small 34A (VS says 32B but I think that they are just messing with me). But you know what? I don't care. I am going to wear it even if it doesn't look the best on me. Because, well, I think they give off a fun/flirty feel. Which is totally awesome. So, I'm going to work it and I don't care what you say. ;)

Anyway, I am going to get on with the point of this post.

Crop top - DIY addition.

Here are the quick and easy directions - and the pictures will hopefully help ya'll out, too. :)

What you need:

1 large t-shirt that you never wear. - Why would you cut up a shirt you wear? 

Skizzers.

A fabric marker if you want it to be perfect.

What you gotta do:

1. Lay the shirt on a flat surface - I used my bed. Probably not the best choice, but whatever.

2. Cut the neck of your shirt to be a "Scoop" neck (or a V-neck would look cool, too, maybe?). 

3. Cut the sleeves off in a a"Banana" cut. (If I don't make sense, just look at the picture. Lol.)

4. Cut the bottom of the shirt in another "Banana" cut. Just cut it to however short you want it to be. I made mine so it hit just under my belly-button. 

5. MAKE SURE IT'S ALL EVEN. It looks so much better that way. 

6. If your sleeves are too deep, or hang on your body too low then you can also take a pretty ribbon and tie the back. I didn't do it to mine because mine fit well, but if you use a really big t-shirt you might have to. 

And there you have it. A cute little crop top. :)

feather extensions - what do you think?

I know I might be a little late to the whole trend, but I have been meaning to do another post incorporating my lovely sponsors (See here if you are interested in future opinion posts! It's completely free!). So I figured that the new craze, feather extensions, would be a great topic. Last time I did an opinion blog I got a lot of different views, and I want to see even more this time! You hear (see?) that people? I want to see what YOU think! (That means comment! Comment! Comment!) Anyway, on to the post - Sorry, I have a hard time keeping track of what I am writing. :p

Yep, we have upgraded from the pink and blue hair extensions (remember when everyone thought that was SO cool?). The new hair trend is making peacocks and quails shiver in their feathers. Feather extensions. I don't know who really came up with this idea, but they have to be pretty proud of how their idea is taking the fashion/beauty world by storm. I mean, I would. Who would've thought that people would want to put feathers in their hair...when I first heard about this trend I was thinking that people were putting nasty duck feathers in their hair, but to my surprise, they were not.  Figures, I had no idea what I was thinking. Lol. ANYWAY - Here are a couple of my blogging friends opinions. 

"I LOVE feather hair extensions, even though I don't have any. I think that they add a touch of whimsy to your everyday hair. :) That being said, I also think that they're a little too popular for me, now. Haha! But if I were to get some, I'd stick with the natural colors. I think those can look really chic!"

Okay guys. Tell me your honest opinions on this lovely trend.

 

Who doesn't like spending only 24 and 1/2 seconds getting dressed? No need to fuss with putting on separate pieces of clothing when they are all connected, right? Maybe it's more economical, is the recession taking a toll on these otherwise stylish women? So many questions and so little answers. Why do people wear these things, no one in particular (TYRA) but they are just not attractive on ANYONE. But, hey, I guess some people just love looking like they are in baby sleepers. :)

 

Oh! And don't let me forget about the other new trend that I am absolutely in LOVE with. I mean, seeing this just makes me want to go to a hoedown and eat some straw. Yee-haw! Ugh...fashion these days...
