tattoo's.

Though I do not have any, nor do I plan to get a bunch of them I seem to be captivated by them.

I think that they are beautiful, and those who wear them I think are so brave and are so creative to do that with their bodies.

I especially love the simple black tattoo's. I have no idea why, but I do. I actually think that someday I will get a small cross on my right wrist.

What do you think?

  3. These are really cute, usually you see huge designs that are really quite 'loud' & in your face, but I love these simple ones. :)

I don't have any either, but admire the people that do. :) xx

  6. i don't plan on getting any tattoo's either but i always am facinated in them. i think they are so classy if you do them the right way. plus, they can have so much meaning to some people.
as for where to get a tattoo, it's always a good idea to be smart about it. i always thought tattoo's on wrists were cool but when you get to be older and need one of those professional "big girl" jobs, it's not a good idea to have one where it can easily be seen (and it can be a pain to have to cover it up all the time). another cool place i've seen are the ones behind the ear on the upper part of your neck (but again, unless you wear your hair down every day that wouldn't really work either. i personally LOVE that first image of the cross on the lower part of her neck (almost upper back). i think it is gorgeous and can easily be cover if you want it to be.
sorry for this novel of a post, by the way!

  7. love me some tatoos. I plan on getting one on my 30th birthday in April - the words "faith, hope & love" on my left wrist. :)

I love the swallow tatoo pictured and the feather on the ring finger. Although that looks like it might have hurt. A lot.

  8. I would love to get a tattoo, but most likely will not. I'm way too indecisive to choose what I would want on my body permanently. Plus I can't think of one place on my body that is both work appropriate AND won't sag/stretch when I'm older or have kids. Oh, and my family and boyfriend aren't fond of them at all. *sigh* So I just look at other peoples' tattoos and admire from afar. But that love/infinity sign one is my favorite, and all of them are lovely.

  9. I love them, too. I have a small white one on my left wrist. It's my favorite. I also have a crown on my lower back (for my sorority, yay zeta tau alpha) and a teeny tiny outline of a pink heart.

  12. I have to say I usually dislike black tattoos, they seem so harsh against the skin and very ugly when they fade, but now I love those flying birds in the third picture!

Still, I would get a tattoo that would be like skin only darker, sort of ochre/brown, instead of black.

  13. I just love tattoos. I have a small swallow on my foot that I got when I was 18, but that's all I ever want. I think that if you can get away with having a tattoo (career-wise)and you really want one - do it!

  14. I was considering getting "faith" on the inside of my right wrist. I sharpied it on the other day and decided it isn't right for me. You should try it out with a sharpie before you do anything :)
